Vegetal awning in Tokyo [247]
This is a house where outside and inside relation is very important and is solved in a very interesting way. Perhaps the most striking detail is the mesh that wraps two sides of the house, hanging from the ceiling of the second floor. A creeper plant has grown hanging on this mesh, being privacy one of the explicit goals. Two very nice outdoor livings are generated, where inner spaces of both floors open to.
These premises are closed by stackable sliding panels, so that can the façade can be fully open. We can see the spectacular image of the ground floor living, with both façades completely open to the outdoor livings.
