The longest facade has a south-southwest orientation, the one with better views. The most suitable material is probably the deployé, since it offers enough permeability to views while protecting from the sun even for lower inclinations of it. The images show that transparency while the shadow on the floor of the terrace shows the effectiveness of the solar protection.
The material adopted wraps three façades, leaving an intermediate space behind it, a terrace protected from views that broadens on both sides of the house. To prevent any claustrophobic feeling, and to improve the contact with the outside, many of the frames are operable.
