Perforated shutters in Badalona's Firehouse [552]
The new firehouse in Badalona is developed in L shape. It is divided into three levels, adapting to the new topography. The building is divided into two different kind of uses: garage and firemen habitation. That is why two different kind of protections are placed.Aluminium louvered shutters allow ventilation and solar shading on the fire truck garage. They can be moved upwards so that they twist and keep parallel to the ceiling. In the dormitory area there are sliding aluminium louvered panels for privacy protection and solar shading.
