In 1967, Folcrá was designing a own solar protection. The obvious need to reduce solar heating in buildings and provide visual privacy brought the filter "Sunshade".

It is a system of horizontal pivoting slats, with the property that can be stacked on top and bottom of the window, so that it allows a good visual relation with the outside without harming the solar protection.
