Folding-sliding drilled panels in Le Marais [555]
Paris has a long tradition of die-cast perforated folding-sliding blinds. This residential and office building in Le Marais recovers that tradition to build a wrapping filter for residential terraces.
The result is simple and beautiful. However, the formal minimalism transformed the visors of the die-cast into flat drilling holes. The traditional solution was much more effective, without blocking the entrance of light and certain views to the exterior.
