Wicker louvers [363]

This orthogonal building is totally covered with wicker louvers. Between the louvers and the window, you can find a tiny space with vegetation, introduced as part of the project.  The small terrace isn’t designed as a living space. It is understood as a continuation of the interior. Inside we find an interesting range of wall and window that creates the feeling you’re in an open space.

The louvers stop the direct radiation, illuminating the interior in a diffuse way. They also give privacy and protect the window from the rain.

The vegetation gives to this intermediate space a nice and casual atmosphere. The wicker louvers can be moved by the users to get the required light without losing the enter of a softly wind.
