Translucent marble shutters by Mimram [144]

Marc Mimram bases the project of a facade in the Parisian Boulevard Barbès on solar protection. With a clear inspiration in Prouvé’s hiding shutters, Mimram fascinates us with magnificent translucent marble protections.

This translucent protection filters the light at daytime and light up at night.

The panel is divided in four. Three of them hide down, but the upper can slide up or down. That’s a very important nuance taking views into account.
