Ropes and creeping plants as filters on beachfront house [608]

This is a smart renovation of a house in Costa Brava that demonstrates how a building can be completely transformed with some simple additions. Bosch and Capdeferro used some basic materials to recreate a different architecture. Let them express it in their own words:

La casa se convierte en un amplio porche, cubierto y ventilado, abierto al paisaje.”"The construction is proposed as a lightweight and configurable element, of an ambiguous nature filter. The obstruction of solar radiation and the capture of the sea breeze that provides the vegetal and rope wall of the new scaffolding, together with cross ventilation result of the opening of a new patio in the southern limit represent an efficient passive system that greatly improves the comfort of the space. The house becomes a large porch, covered and ventilated, open to the landscape."
