Racks Folding Guest House in Texas [386]

The entire body of this guest house has been closed with lacquered aluminum slats. The first and second floors, fully glazed, are covered with slats.

<p><span lang="EN">This filter</span><span lang="EN"> is fragmented into three levels, so that slats mounted on a fixed frame form the sill. The rotation of these blades opens the view down over the spectacular </span><span lang="EN">surroundings<span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: small;">.</span></span></p>
<p><span lang="EN">In the upper</span><span lang="EN"> two racks are folded about a horizontal axis forming a visor to protect from excessive solar glare. The set of the two possible moves, slats and racks, allows any combination of protection, views and privacy.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
