Perforated aluminium panels with tiny visors [138]

The facade of this building is composed of perforated aluminum sheet, on vertical folding-sliding panels. This perforations bend the metal to outside, creating a visor that protects from the entrance of direct radiation while allows outward visibility. It is a similar system as deployé.

Facade composed of aluminum panels with perforations which are vertically folded by hinges

The panels are folded upwards vertically by means of hinges at the panel center and two bearings located on the bottom corners of the rear panel traversing the guide inserted in the window frame. The panels are reflected in the top forming a visor which in turn performs the functions of sunscreen.
