Fragmented window \"i-module\" in Düsseldorf [131]

The CAPRICORN HAUS façade incorporates all technology and equipment to regulate the indoor climate. With the integrated TAC Vista FM Facility Management System, continual monitoring and optimization of the system are user-friendly - from efficient maintenance planning, energy strategies and analyses, through to energy monitoring.

The arrangement of the i·Modul-Fassade into transparent and closed facade elements creates a balance between a connection with the outside world and solar protection.

There the problem of sound pollution exists, so a multi-functional facade module contains the necessary technology for controlling the building’s temperature and air quality. The building is equipped with an air-conditioning system for cooling, heating, ventilation and heat recovery. The architects also integrated lighting, sound absorption and room acoustics elements in the façade panel.
