Exterior louvered shutters near Lesseps square, Bcn [190]

The image of the building changes during the day, determined by the position of the three kind of filters. While the exterior fixed louvered shutters create a countinous facade and protect the terraces, the interior sliding shutters adapt to protect the interior space.

Although it is true that the louvered shutters can’t adapt to every situation because the louvers can’t pivotate and the exterior shutter is fixed, an interior shade complements the group, filtering the entrance of radiation when necessary.
