Berlin vertical folding sliding louvered shutter [220]

This blind is found in Berlin and it is a fascinating example of a sunblock. It combines blind and slats device allowing the mobility of this filter.

In this photo is shown a window with the blind folded. Also it is possible to observe the railing of the little space between the window and the building façade.  This railing is also composed of louvers. We also note that the railing small landing between the window and the front, which is also composed of slats.

The vertical section of this filter shows the mechanism and layered filters: vertical folding sliding louvers, the double window and the metallic blind between the two woodworks. We also observe the clamping mechanism of the elements with their uprights, gussets or metal profiles.
